Kitkat Validator operates and maintains Validator Nodes, in software form, to contribute to the security of selected Blockchains. We may offer the option for Customers to Stake their Cryptocurrencies with our Validator Nodes on certain Blockchains, and as a result, Users may receive Staking Rewards. Please note that Rewards are paid by the respective Blockchain distribution module and not by Kitkat Validator. However, we may charge a commission for our Services, which will be deducted from accrued Rewards. We reserve the right to change the commission rate at any time without prior notice.
It is important to note that Rewards may fluctuate frequently, as they directly depend on various factors including the amount of Staked Cryptocurrencies on the network.
Delegated Cryptocurrencies may be subject to a specific Unbonding Time as determined by the rules of the respective Blockchain. We want to draw your attention to the fact that during this Unbonding Time (which varies in duration depending on the Blockchain), Users will not be able to use, send or sell their Cryptocurrencies.
Please note that KitKat Validator have no control over these Unbonding Times and cannot be held responsible for any losses or issues that may arise from the Customer Unbonding their Cryptocurrencies during this period.
It is important to note that the decision to stake and the amount of cryptocurrency to stake with Kitkat Validator is entirely up to you. You are solely responsible for the ways in which you choose to use your cryptocurrencies, including whether or not to use our staking service or any other services provided by Kitkat Validator. As a user, you have full control over your actions and must take responsibility for any necessary adjustments in the event of operational or service changes, such as slashing, downtime of validator nodes, unavailability of services, changes in commission, extreme fluctuations in rewards, or halted blockchains.
At Kitkat Validator, we always strive to provide the best possible service to our Customers. However, it is important to note that there is always a small risk of Slashing. Slashing can occur if a Validator's hardware or software experiences sudden errors, causing the operations to shut down unexpectedly and without the Validator's intervention.
After a certain period of time (known as the "Slashing Window"), the Validator may be Jailed and a portion of the Delegated Cryptocurrencies may be Slashed. Additionally, Delegators of the Slashed Validator will no longer receive Rewards as long as the Validator remains inactive. The specific Slashing fraction is determined by the ruleset of the Blockchain, and any Slashed percentages of the Delegated Stakes cannot be revoked or refunded by Kitkat Validator.
To minimize the risk of Slashing, we have implemented multiple fallback levels, as well as sophisticated monitoring and incident response systems. However, please note that Kitkat Validator cannot be held liable for double signing, Jailed Validator, inactive Validator, or any form of Slashing. The risk associated with choosing a trusted Validator for Delegating Cryptocurrencies lies solely with the Customer.
Please be aware that Kitkat Validator is not liable for any incorrect information, corrupted or false data displayed, processed, or used on our Infrastructure, or for any losses of funds, revenues, rewards, or delays caused by any part of our website, services, or contents. It is strictly prohibited to use Kitkat Infrastructure and/or Services illegally or with malicious intent."
